Will you get more wrinkles if you start using anti-aging products at 14?

I heard that you’re supposed to use anti-aging products when you’re young to prevent wrinkles, but if you start too early will it be too harsh on your skin?

I don’t think it’s harsh on your skin, but I don’t think you need chemical peels or anything drastic. That could be bad. Also, some of the heavier anti-wrinkle creams have too much moisture/oil for young skin and that can cause outbreaks.

If I were you I would just focus on keeping your skin acne free and using sunblock. Those two do the most damage and can be prevented.

I am about to apply at Crunch Fitness for a front desk position. Does anybody know how much they make an hour?

I’m going to have to estimate about $10/hr. If you’re lucky maybe a few bucks more.

What is the health disadvantage to having extra melanin in your body?

Filed under: Health — admin @ 12:28 am

For my biology class we get bonus points if we find out what the HEALTH disadvantage to having extra melanin (eumelanin) in the body is. I’ve searched everywhere and cannot find the answer. The only information I did find is cosmetological reasons for complications with laser surgery. But I need the health reason. Any help will be greatly greatly appreciated.
-Thankyou,
Ava
P.S.
I need the major reason why it is a disadvantage.

As a component in the skin it protects against uv damage leading to skin cancer and also premature aging of the skin, this should be listed in the physiology text, check the index.

What sports teams are most popular where you live?

Filed under: Sports — admin @ 12:28 am

Hello everyone! I am doing a little sociology project, looking at the demography of sports. I want to know which major league teams are the most popular in your *immediate* area where you live. This could mean your town or your neighborhood if you live in a big city. If two teams are even in your area, please describe. There’s no right answer, it’s just what you perceive to be most popular. I am collecting data on 5 sports. If you don’t know any, just leave it blank.

Baseball
Football (NFL)
Football (college)
Basketball
Hockey

Please also to remember to tell me what town you live in!

Thanks everyone!

I live in the area of Chicago, so the area teams would be most popular. The baseball teams are Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox, neither is popular for me. For NFL football is the Chicago Bears. College Football I would think the 2 main ones would be, and a few others, would be either Northwestern Wildcats, or Illinois Fighting Illini. For basketball, the Chicago Bulls. And for Hockey, for the NHL you have the Chicago Blackhawks and for the AHL, you have the Chicago Wolves. Most of the teams plays on a TV station that is has a super station, and that is WGN TV, and a lot of them will have certain number of games on their a year.

Edit: If you need the name of the actual town I live is Palos Park. But for baseball, for Chicago is up between 2 baseball teams, and usually fans on the Nothside of Chciago will be Chicago Cubs fans, and for the Southside of Chicago, will be Chicago White Sox fans. But you never know, you could run into people onm either side of town, that might cheer for the other baseball team.

Does anyone know anything about Human Growth Hormone?

Filed under: Human Growth Hormone — admin @ 12:28 am

Does anyone know how to get injections of HGH? Do you have to have a growth disorder? Can you get it to help you heal from althletic injuries like tendinitis? How do you get it? I know movie stars somehow get their hands on it…. I live in the SF Bay area by the way.

You can get a series of HGH injections from a doctor at a cost of something like $12,000-$18,000. To qualify you have to have a growth disorder such as a malfunctioning pituitary gland that is not releasing enough HGH.

Is it time to start anti aging stuff?

I recently went on a disney cruise which was AMAZING. While there, me and my hubby had a facial and massage together. As usual, after the facial they told us their "findings" about our skin. The girl that did me told me that I shouldn’t use Proactive anymore and should start using anti-aging products, especially products with collagen in them. I’m only 21, so I thought this would come in, maybe, 9 years. What is your opinion? The earlier the better?

You are never too old or young to be using Proactiv. It’s only a topical cream for skin problems, and if is working for you without any harmful effects, you should continue it for as long as you need. Anti-aging products on younger skin is a tricky thing. It’s not exactly harmful to start using some of them now, but applying heavier creams geared at older skin could do damage.

Collagen is found in many anti-aging creams, but a few of them are have highly concentrated amounts to be used as fillers for wrinkles (like Roc-brand creams). I suggest you stay away from those for now because I honestly don’t think you would need them and they might possible cause wear to your skin. If you are serious about starting some kind of anti-aging regimen, start light with things geared towards a younger audience. Neutrogena might be a good brand to start with. You might be able to find out more if you go to cosmetic stands in the mall or a reputable spa.

What sort of health insurance options does a single woman have who lives on her own and works at the gap?

Filed under: Health — admin @ 4:03 am

I get worried about my girlfriend because she doesn’t have health insurance. I am insured through my job, what are her options? Is there something she can sign up for? If she has health issues I want to know that she will be able to afford any necessary medical treatment. Thanks.

Financial assistance might be available. Certain government programs and nonprofit organizations can help. You can also discuss concerns about paying her medical bills with your health care provider, social worker or the business office of your clinic or hospital.

It seems as if each time my family gathers we end up talking about sports. The conversation eventually turns to sports movies. Each person always has a different opinion, but I always learn what new movies are out there. That is why I am asking this question here.
