Health reform is becoming law.How it’s possible for those states to file law suits on Government?

Health reform is becoming law.How it’s possible for those states to file law suits on Government?Shouldn’t they obey the law now or face the jail or something?

They feel that they are being forced to do something that is unconstitutional and they are suing to
stop what they feel is an unfair burden that is being forced upon them. They are being told thaat they have to cover all these people and they are given no money to cover them with. This will surely
bankrupt the state. That is why they are suing. If you feel you’ve been wronged by the government,
you do have the right to sue. Everybody has that right.

What was the first college sports team to use American Indians as their mascot?

I’m writing a paper on this controversy, and I can’t find the answer to this anywhere. If has to be college sports not just all sports. Please include the source, because I have to cite it. Thank you! =]

What is human growth hormone and is it safe?

Filed under: Human Growth Hormone — admin @ 12:12 pm

I’m in my 30’s and having been trying to gain muscle mass working out as well as training for a 10k race in May. I recall old ads on the radio claiming the benifits of HGH and have heard of pro sports athletes taking it. Is this something I should consider?

HGH Side Effects
HGH side effects are a concern for anyone looking at hormone therapy to slow down or reverse the aging process. The side effects of HGH use can be scary and researchers are still working on the optimal dosage to reduce adverse reactions and enhance results. As with any drug each person must weigh the benefits against the drawbacks and decide if the end justifies the means.

HGH side effects range from the minor joint pain and some fluid retention to the more serious high blood pressure and abnormal bone and cartilage growth. Most medicinal use of HGH focuses on short-term correction of a hormonal imbalance. General growth hormone side effects from this type of use tend to be fluid retention, joint pain, a reversible insulin resistance, and some joint swelling.

HGH for anti-aging or "plastic surgery in a bottle" use leads to more long-term complications such as high blood pressure, more serious fluid retention, chronic joint pain and swelling, and some facial bone growth. Long-term abuse, as seen in athletic use, can lead to more pronounced, and sometimes deadly, side effects such as irregular heart rhythms, increased risk of diabetes, joint and facial deformities, and a shut down of the pituitary glands.

HGH side effects can be reduced by limiting the length of time the hormone is used. Lowering the dosage of human growth hormone can also reduce the number and severity of these reactions. Human growth hormone is a drug. The introduction of any foreign substance, even if your body produces some naturally, will trigger reactions by the body. These reactions cause the effects that we see with any drug. HGH side effects also come from the extra growth hormone in the body along with what is already produced by the pituitary glands.

Some of the more serious side effects of HGH come from the abuse of the hormone. This abuse can come in the form of taking too much of the substance or taking it for too long. Milder versions of these problems can occur from the abuse of supplemental forms of HGH sold over-the-counter.

Your body needs time to return to a normal state of function. If you take more than the suggested dosage for a long period of time you will see complications arise from this abuse. You liver has to work harder to process this externally introduced HGH running through your blood. This could lead to liver stress, and ultimately liver damage. Your body may recognize a higher level of HGH in the bloodstream and stop producing as much for itself. If this goes on long enough the pituitary glands begin to shut down.

HGH side effects can come from any HGH use. Minimizing the side effects by lower the dosage and the length of time on the growth hormone can be helpful. Each person must weigh the benefits against the possibilities and decide if this course will help them reach their anti aging goals.

How do sports like fencing or archery work in colleges?

Filed under: Sports — admin @ 12:32 pm

let’s explain better.
Im going to graduate high school, would like to do either of these sports, if these sports are available at a college can I participate in them even if I have never practiced the sport. The colleges on which im planning to attend do not specify anything and apparently they are not intramural. My high school does not offer these sports and neither does my town.

While I do not have experience with college archery and/or fencing teams, I do have experience with archery and fencing done by college students.

If the college(s) you are looking at do(es) not offer archery and/or fencing, you should find out if there is an SCA (Society for Creative Anachronisms, Inc.) branch located at/affiliated with the college(s) you are interested in. The SCA, because its main focus is the study and re-creation/re-enactment of the Middle Ages, incorporates archery and fencing into its activities — and most major colleges (and many community colleges) have an on-campus SCA presence. The good part is that you do not have to join the SCA to take part in the archery/fencing, unless you want to join.

I have been involved in archery for more than 30 years, spent ten of those years with SCA archery, and have tried SCA fencing. Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking that fencing is easy or for "sissies", because it is neither — and SCA fencing is only slightly more strenuous than Olympic fencing (the main difference is Olympic fencing is limited to back-and-forth; In SCA fencing, you get to move around and use some foot-work).

Visit
http://sca.org/
and find out if there is a group affiliated with/located at the college of your choice. Then send an e-mail, and ask questions about archery and fencing.

What does the current health care bill do to reduce cost in health care itself?

Filed under: Health — admin @ 3:13 pm

All you hear are liberals spewing their propaganda about how premiums will supposedly go down. How will premiums go down if the actual cost to provide health care services does not decrease? And if you think that actual health care costs (not insurance premiums) will decrease, how will this bill accomplish that?

Nothing of course and the Left knows it.

What none of them will answer though is how any of this will be paid for when the initial looting of Medicare runs dry, leaving the federal government insolvent to the point of not being able to reimburse doctors who are waiting to have their invoices paid.

Edit: Felonious is proof of what I just posted…None of them will address it.

Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker

Filed under: Uncategorized — GrantGolin @ 9:43 am

Contrary to what its name would suggest, the Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker is actually a three in one device. It can serve as a standard American style waffle maker, a grill and a griddle all packed in one package portable enough that it would take very little countertop space. It’s inexpensive price tag and high versatility makes it one of the most competitive products of its type. Reviews about this particular product had been generally positive. Its multiple functions don’t compromise its efficiency with any of its three functions. As a waffle maker, it can produce 4 4.5 inch square waffles in one cycle. As a grill, its 8- inch-square surface make’s it perfectly capable of handling any meal for the family and in the girdle role; it will give you 16-inch-square cooking space once you lay it flatly open.
There doesn’t seem to be any professional reviews about this product on the Internet however there had been a lot of owner reviews which generally shows a high level of satisfaction for this product. I’ve also found some gripes which may be worth mentioning such as complaints about its durability and inefficiency. The high level of positive owner reviews however would suggest a defective model or surface wear but the fact is that it’s not a real indication that this device would let you down since you’ll see those complaints on any waffle maker should you take the time to research them. Nothing promotes a product better than the number of customer who has found satisfaction in it and the Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker certainly fits in that category.

How does Universal Health Care motivate individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles?

Filed under: Health — admin @ 6:42 pm

At a time in our country when two out of three adults are overweight, how does providing state-run health care encourage people to take better care of themselves? Look how unhealthy Americans are when health care is at a premium. Imagine our condition when it’s doled out like welfare.

Because the quality of care within the Universal system is so bad you certainly don’t want to have to use it. Therefore you will live longer by taking better care of yourself.
