I acutally didn’t …
I acutally didn’t find the Wii Fit to work for me at all. I exercise a lot at home and eat right, so possibly this just isn’t enough compared to what I do.
Although, I know some people who aren’t very fit who do use the WIi Fit and it has made a difference for them and their minimal exercise.

I actually have a Wii fit at home ! So i use every day to get in shape and to improve my balance . So the Wii Fit is one of the best things to use when you want to exercise and become more healthier !

The trainers …
The trainers actually do* tell you what muscle you are engaging and should be focusing on. They do a lot of safety tips on breathing and such as well. Also with the walking, unless you have somewhere pretty to walk/run w/ out* cars driving around and noises of the city around you the Wii offers a more enjoyable peaceful experience. But I guess it all deals with preference.

I think I prefer exercising outside any day even if it’s raining.
Even if you run at your maximum heart rate( which is to 20 less your age for males)it won’t be as efficient are burning fat as a routine with some muscle building included.

I wouldn’t want her …
I wouldn’t want her to lose anymore and she doesn’t need to as her weight and BMI is spot on now. She wasn’t an overweight child, she had gained a few pounds over the holidays as she hadn’t been as active as when she’s at school, but she’s now back to her ’school time’ weight. I dare say she won’t use the wii fit as much when she’s back at school in a couple of weeks as she’ll be back to doing hockey, swimming and skiing etc etc. Some of the muscle exercises have been good for pre-ski training!

active use for say 2 hours a day in my opinion you could lose a fair amount of week, but you’ll probably notice she will not lose any more than 12lbs and probably re-gain that and possibly put on weight, considering she’s already fit. it’s probably just general weight fluctuation, but who knows maybe this works ?
