At a time in our country when two out of three adults are overweight, how does providing state-run health care encourage people to take better care of themselves? Look how unhealthy Americans are when health care is at a premium. Imagine our condition when it’s doled out like welfare.
Because the quality of care within the Universal system is so bad you certainly don’t want to have to use it. Therefore you will live longer by taking better care of yourself.

They are not establishing universal health care. The mandate will fail miserably because some people still won’t be able to afford insurance, even with subsidies, unless the government ends up finding a loop hole into offering insurance; if they do they might as well have just passed the public option.
