Anyway if you still read on after that… I THINK that the whole reform is about ensuring uninsured people (a quarter of the US population if I’m not mistaken) get quality healthcare.
Of course America, especially it’s right is irrationally phobic of anything socialist, so maybe that’s why they’ve again gone nuts.

I think you’re ignoring a lot of waste that goes on in medicare. the incentives are all messed up- we pay more for the quantity of treatments instead of the necessity or the quality of health outcomes as a result of them. plus medicare advantage is corporate welfare at its worst.

It is a simple redistribution of care from one group to another. “Death Panels” is simply stark terminology for something very real, rationing.
Obama has said that maybe grandma should be given pain pills instead of a hip replacement. That’s an example of rationing. All health care has rationing in some form. It’s not crazy or dishonest to point this out

So if you think the private insurance company is charging you a lot more than you can afford, you can use the public option. it is nothing more than a state run program that competes against the private insurance. Most of the non-sense that private health care is going to be taken away is garbage. nothing is in fact going to change on your end. it is just an option that you can either buy into or not. look at it this way, if you had only one walmart in your town, and your choices to buy stuff

I am a lifelong republican, howecer i do not belive that obama was born in kenya or there is a death panel coming. Couple of things the bill at present has: an individual mandate: this require you to have health insurance regardless, an employer mandate : your employer must provide you with insurance option, a public option: think of it as buying medicare from the govt. Most of the seniors and even children under the govt care, have medicare and medicaid. it is a similiar idea.

The bill is over 1000 pages long but pretty much there is alot of bad things in it like phasing out privite health care to only have goverment health care which they will ration out to save money. Like not letting people over 60 have the surgeries they need to keep living! They will be able to get into your bank account and take money if you owe them alot of negative stuff in there and by the way look into independent media. The mainstream media crap! The are controlled by corporations of liars.
